The Eighth Juror: The eighth juror was one of the main people who felt strongly about making sure that the man who was convicted was actually guilty. Throughout the whole first scene, his actions convince me that he feels strongly about the conviction the man had received and how it could be wrong, based on evidence. He goes into detail about how the neighbor supposedly heard the murder say he was going to kill the victim was odd and did not really seem very likely. He also talks about how the boy could have misplaced the knife that was the murder weapon and how raw of a deal the boy has had all through his life. The way he defends the "murderer" makes me feel as though he also had a terrible experience as a child like he for some reason feels a deeper connection with this boy than the other jurors do.
